Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the standards of conduct required of all users of the NexFix platform. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

2. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Fraudulent Service Requests: Posting false or fabricated service requests, or submitting requests with no intention of hiring a technician.
• Fraudulent Quotes: Submitting quotes with no intention of completing the work, or artificially inflating prices.
• Identity Misrepresentation: Impersonating another person, falsely claiming professional credentials, licenses, or insurance.
• Harassment: Engaging in abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or sexually explicit communications with other users.
• Spam: Sending unsolicited messages, promotional content, or repeated unwanted contact to other users.
• Data Scraping: Using automated tools to extract user data, service listings, or other platform content.
• Platform Bypass: Soliciting other users to transact or communicate outside the platform in order to avoid platform terms or for other improper purposes.
• Illegal Activity: Using the Service to facilitate any activity that is illegal under local, state, federal, or international law.
• Malware Distribution: Uploading files containing viruses, trojans, ransomware, or any other malicious software.
• Account Sharing: Sharing login credentials with third parties or creating accounts on behalf of others without authorization.
• Minors: Registering for or using the Service if you are under 18 years of age.
• Competitive Intelligence: Using the platform to gather competitive intelligence or reverse-engineer our technology.
• AI Misuse: Submitting false, fabricated, or manipulative inputs to AI features with the intent to generate harmful, misleading, or fraudulent outputs.

3. Content Standards

All content submitted to the platform (descriptions, photos, messages, reviews) must:

• Be accurate and truthful.
• Relate to legitimate home repair or maintenance services.
• Not contain nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence.
• Not contain hate speech, discriminatory language, or personal attacks.
• Not violate the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Not contain personal information of third parties without their consent.
• Not constitute defamation or false statements of fact.

4. Review Integrity

All reviews must reflect genuine experiences. The following are prohibited: (a) Submitting reviews for work you did not receive; (b) Technicians submitting or soliciting fake positive reviews; (c) Submitting negative reviews to harm competitors; (d) Offering incentives in exchange for positive reviews; (e) Threatening users with negative reviews to extract free services.

5. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, please report it to support@nexfix.com. We investigate all reports and will take appropriate action, which may include warning, suspension, or permanent termination of the offending account.

6. Enforcement

NexFix reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to: (a) Remove any content that violates this AUP; (b) Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP; (c) Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities; (d) Cooperate with law enforcement investigations; (e) Pursue legal action against users who cause harm through violations of this AUP.

7. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of this AUP in a particular instance does not waive our right to enforce it in the future.
